Hampshire Woodfair

Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Horndean

11th July 2010

10am – 4pm. The Hampshire Wood Fair is a county-wide event, linking conservation and community woods with timber production and woodland crafts.

Bentley Weald woodfair

17th - 19th September 2010

Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum, near Lewes, East Sussex

This is a hugely popular event with a wide range of activities for everyone.

Including horse logging...

and larger machinery

Definitely takes a whole day to see everything!

Woodlands TV did some filming at this event. Here you can see the Anglo Saxon dwelling.

Tickets cost £12 for adults, £8 for children.  More information on their website which I am sure will be updated with 2010 details soon.

Please remember, no dogs (except assistance dogs) are allowed at this event and are not to be left for prolonged periods in cars.

Chilterns Countryside Festival

Ashridge Estate, Berkhamstead

26th Sept 2010

Discover the skills, crafts and produce of the Chilterns countryside. Buy local food and craft items from our farmers market, meet local environmental organisations or come and watch the traditional country craft and woodland displays.

There's something for all the family. Adults £2.50, children free. Dogs on leads welcome.
